Get the support you need to
make a difference

Winitha works with people in (or wanting to get into) DEI, to empower, educate and equip them to work within corporate structures to create sustainable long-term change.

Even though DEI is not a new space, people from historically marginalised backgrounds are still finding it very difficult to get into these roles or get the work (if they have their own consulting businesses).

Part of getting these roles and or the consulting work is about understanding how organisations operate and therefore how to effectively and sustainably work within them as someone who also has their own lived experience.

Winitha teaches and supports DEI practitioners on how to ignite action and sustainable long-term change in the corporate space.

Ways we can work together

Psychological Safety

Psychosocial hazards, respect at work, speak up cultures and psychological safety: The role and responsibility of leaders, people managers and people.

Research shows time and time again that psychological safety is the biggest driver of high-performing teams and individuals and the foundation, the absolute bedrock of inclusive teams and cultures. It's also the number one driver to produce creativity and innovation that stands out from the crowded marketplace.

In this session, we unpack what it is, what it isn't, what microaggressions are and how they differ from person to person and impacts a teams performance. We also get clear on what psychological safety looks like in the workplace and amongst teams, and together we unpack basic steps to create it for yourself and others on a daily basis consistently as we journey towards inclusion in our business. Importantly, we will also look at how psychological safety links to respect at work, psychosocial hazards and speak up cultures. This is an interactive session and there will be time at the end of the session for Q&A.

Coaching and Mentoring for DEI Practitioners

This work is challenging, difficult and at times chaotic, messy and triggering (as practitioners are often also from historically marginalised communities).

Whether you’ve been a practitioner for several years, are an independent DEI consultant or have just landed a D&I role for the first time, we all need support.

Office politics, trying to move things across the line, limited budgets and the emotional tax of doing this work start to wear us down. We get bogged down with project management and managing personalities rather than creating deep, intentional and meaningful change. We find ourselves operating as project managers rather than strategic impact makers.

In this program I work with you one-on-one and provide a safe, nurturing and external space to work through challenges and opportunities as well as give you DEIB expert support, coaching and mentoring to grow and deepen your career and practice.

In this program you will get:

  • External support to get advice on your current approach to DEI as well as how to navigate internal roadblocks to progress

  • Education on how to create sustainable and long-term change and impact within a corporate environment as someone leading inclusion internally and/or as a consultant

  • Mentoring and coaching to create and run a successful consulting business with integrity whilst getting paid equitably yourself

  • Tools and strategies on how to navigate internal politics, particularly with leadership teams

  • Training on DEI practices that are cutting-edge and go beyond best practice

  • Education on how to go from being ‘well read’ in DEI to feeling confident and capable in doing the work of DEI in a corporate context
